I went out to check in on my favorite red heads today. Promise gave me a happy nicker, then went right back to her job of mowing her 6 acres. Pirate was feeling a little more social and came over, his distance from Mama a huge change from when I saw him last.
Promise is looking good, she shows her age more to me now. The grey over her eyes, the slightly slower gait. She's happy in her retired lifestyle.
